The New Orleans Pelicans trade Jrue Holiday to the Chicago Bulls

Trading for the #4 Pick

If you do this trade then you really don’t like Jrue Holiday, or at least don’t like his contract for another two years.

This seems like a lot to give up, but the Pelicans would be getting a decent 3-and-D wing in Porter who has one less year on his contract than Holiday, which would potentially open up some cap space for the 2021 free-agent class.

You also get the #4 pick in this draft, which could net another young talent to pair with your core.

This move gives you future cap flexibility, a more balanced roster and it replaces the 13th pick with a pick in 2022, which could be a much better draft. The Bulls might still be bad then, so that pick could end up being very valuable.

The question is who are you going to pick with #4?
